We offer a 360 approach to surviving an active shooter or assailant event. We teach prevention, response and after care. We call this 360 approach, the RESIST10 Method.
During our scenario based training, designed for everyday people, we teach how to identify, prevent and respond with basic techniques to survive during an active shooter incident.
Unique to our program, we also provide life saving traumatic bleed control training and offer equipment that WILL enable, everyday people, to save lives.
Whether caused by an active assailant, work around the house or on the job, a traumatic bleeding injury can take a life in 3 to 5 minutes or less. We are our own First Responders since an average EMS response can take up to 14 minutes or more.
The American College of Surgeons estimates that over 30,000 deaths, due to traumatic bleeding, could be saved each year if bystanders were trained how to stop life threatening bleeding. Uncontrolled bleeding is the number one cause of preventable death from trauma.
Often times those who are wounded survive an active shooter incident, yet, die from traumatic bleeding due to EMS response times.
Our students learn how to identify and successfully treat life-threatening bleeding. They practice applying tourniquets to themselves and others, practice wound packing on realistic wound simulators, practice applying pressure bandages and applying chest seals.
The chance of surviving a life-threatening bleed injury is less than 50% without immediate care. RESIST10 Method students can increase the odds dramatically!
Learn how you and your organization can be trained in the RESIST10 Method and become prepared and equipped to save lives!
